ABOUT OUR COMMITTEE
Meet The Hilltop Community Trustees. Committee. From Chairman to Treasurer, the trustee committee oversees the running of the charity and the allocations of the money raised from the community.
With the Help of the committee, the Hilltop Community continues to raise money for the hall and socials events throughout the year.
To help bring the community together, other committee members support the trustee’s run and organise annual events. All Trustees are volunteers and local the Hilltop area.

I am John Richardson I live in new house close with my wife Louise and my three children and Lilly the dog.I have lived here for nearly 26 years.I have recently retired from a furniture company after nearly 45 years , and took up the challenge of being the new chairman of the trustees where I hope I can promote the community hall.
I was delighted when approached to become the Treasurer for the Hilltop Community Association. Having grown up in Iffin Lane, I have returned to raise my own family here and feel it is now my turn to contribute to this wonderful community. I have worked in Financial Services for the NHS for over 20 years so have a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the HCA
Dave with his family have lived in New House Lane, Thanington Without, Canterbury for the past 38 years and for the last sixteen years has been a founder member of Hilltop Community Association as one of eight trustees. As a classically trained building products professional and avid DIY’er Dave has been part of the team involved with renovating Hilltop’s hall and can often be found helping with the hall facilities or cutting the grass along with other enthusiastic volunteers.
I'm Dave Smith, and I moved to Iffin Lane with my wife in 1998. I'm a retired engineer & engineering manager. I've been involved with HCA for over 20 years, and welcome being part of one of our greatest local assets, contributing in any way to supporting it, and its development for our community, in any way I can
Hi. I am Claire Gent. I have lived in New House Lane with my 2 sons since 2011. I am delighted to have been asked to be a trustee for this lovely community. I currently enjoy being part of the judging panel for the annual photography competition and organising litter picking to keep our community looking beautiful and welcoming.
Hi I'm Tracey, I've been living at Hilltop in Iffin Lane since 1998. My Career started at Lloyd's - The London Insurance Market, where I trained as a Technical Librarian. In the early 90's I made a Career change, and returned to College to follow my dream career in Floristry! I became a member of the main HCA Committee, when it was first formed, and have been involved in fund raising and organising social events, competitions & Fairs
I have lived at 12 NHL since July 1999. Widowed Retired Assistant Headteacher and Head of Mathematics
I moved into New House Close with my partner 23 years ago having returned to England after working abroad and have now retired from a Civil Service position. Over the years I have very much enjoyed attending the various community activities so was very pleased to be asked to become a trustee and will do my best to ensure the continued success of the association.
